GETTING THERE

Boat
New Galaxy Wave catamaran ferry provides a fast and comfortable ride between Roatán and La Ceiba (economy/first class US$21/26.50, 1¼ hours). There are daily departures from La Ceiba to Roatán at 9:30am and 4:30pm, and from Roatán to La Ceiba at 7am and 2pm.

Air
Roatán’s Aeropuerto Juan Ramón Galvez is located a short distance east of Coxen Hole. TACA , Sosa and Atlantic Airlines all have offices in Roatán’s airport. They offer daily flights between Roatán and La Ceiba with domestic and international connections. At the time of research, Continental operated nonstop flights from Houston to Roatán on Saturday and Sunday, and Delta had flights from Atlanta on Saturday only.
